I actually started in DNV 13 years ago as a global management trainee. Someone sent an e-mail to my whole class and let us know about DNV. So I applied, I got the job and started my career as a trainee. DNV is a really purpose-driven company and I think to most of us our purpose of safeguarding life, property and the environment really matters. And I feel like every single day we actually work on that. When we develop digital products, but it's also combining that with the domain expertise that we have in DNV, from AI to fish escape and technical integrity, software developers, designers etc., which is super exciting.
What makes me proud to work in DNV is that we're actually a purpose-driven company, and I feel that by working at DNV, we help make the world a little bit better every single day. DNV offers a lot of opportunities to young people. One of our interns in the spring worked on a huge competitor analysis for DNV and the output of her work was actually presented to the board of directors in March. DNV is really understanding when it comes to families, and I actually have the opportunity to work quite flexibly if I need to. I have the opportunity to pick up and deliver my kids without that disturbing my work schedule. And I know that my manager also sees my home life as most important and the thing that I should prioritize, which is really important to me. In our team, we work really closely together, making sure that everyone's actually heard and their opinions matter. For our team specifically, we meet every other week, making sure that everyone's involved in making decisions that affect their work.
