The Story

Balancing strategy and operations

Based in the Paris office, Lynda works as our Managing Director for Africa for our Business Assurance area. She oversees the entire operation across the continent, balancing strategic vision with day-to-day tasks. “My role is about making sure everything runs smoothly while keeping our long-term objectives in focus. This blend of strategy and action makes my work both challenging and rewarding,” Lynda explains.

Expanding the footprint. Fostering growth.

Lynda joined DNV nearly five years ago, drawn by the opportunity to expand the company’s footprint in Africa - a challenge that continues to inspire her. “Every day, I learn and grow as we shape our presence across the continent helping our clients uphold high standards for quality, safety, and environmental responsibility.”

Lynda sees our certification services as a way to open doors to international markets and foster local growth. “It’s about showcasing Africa’s expertise while supporting sustainable development through global standards and training,” she adds.

While leading multicultural teams remotely can be challenging, Lynda feels this has strengthened her leadership skills. “I’ve become more confident and collaborative and learnt how to incorporate diverse perspectives into my decision-making. This growth has been invaluable,” she concludes.
