About you

Who we’re looking for:

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Naval Architecture or Marine, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, Master Mariner or equivalent field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the Marine industry on passenger ships/cargo ships.
  • Understanding of class & statutory surveyor work and responsibilities.
  • Team player and also be able to work independently.
  • Physical abilities necessary to perform regular functions of the job: Climbing pilot ladders & tanks, flying, flying in helicopter, crew boat launches, voyage surveys.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills. French communication skills a plus.
  • Approx. 25% travel is required (domestic and/or International).
  • We conduct a pre-employment background check.

By using an online or video link to the vessel, our dedicated remote surveyors can support vessels anywhere in the world.

Cyber security is an important topic for the maritime industries due to rapid digital change that come with new threats and regulatory requirements.
