About the role

Join Our Global Operational Excellence Team!

Are you a highly motivated and experienced professional looking to make a significant impact? We invite you to join our newly established global operational excellence team at the Energy Systems BA Center. In this role, you will report directly to the Global Operational Excellence Lead and collaborate closely with our network of Operational Excellence Managers worldwide.

As a key member of our team, you will drive step-change improvements in our operational performance internally. Your efforts will ensure that we deliver exceptional value to our customers, employees, DNV Energy Systems, and society at large. You will achieve this by fostering a culture of continuous improvement, empowering teams, and leading critical and key improvement initiatives to achieve measurable benefits.

Key responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Global Operational Excellence Lead to identify, prioritize, and launch improvement pilots across DNV Energy Systems
  • Provide proactive coaching on Lean Six Sigma management, process improvement, and problem-solving to manager- and employee-led improvement pilots and initiatives, and support as required
  • Collaborate closely with a global team of Operational Excellence Managers and share lessons learned
  • Support our regions in succeeding with their Operational Excellence journeys
  • Lead and proactively drive Operational Excellence and Change Management initiatives
  • Assist in designing, refining and tailoring Lean Six Sigma Operational Excellence, Performance Management, and Change Management concepts
  • Develop Lean Six Sigma Operational Excellence learning paths and deliver training (both in-person and virtually)
  • Occasional travel may be required

About you

Position Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated expertise in operational improvements and change management
  • Proven experience in delivering coaching (or a strong interest)
  • Established proficiency with Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, or similar methodologies (or a strong interest)
  • Experience from business consulting is a strength, but not a prerequisite
  • Experience working in an international environment
  • Self-motivated, proactive, resilient, and able to cope with high pressure situations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication, influencing and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of both physical and virtual teams
