Role Overview
We are looking for a Test Engineer / Senior Test Engineer to support quality assurance for Synergi Life, DNV’s risk and QHSE management application. Why Manual Testing Still Matters to us: In the Synergi Life Core Development team, we actively work with shift-left testing practices to improve delivery speed and engineering efficiency. However, manual testing remains essential for uncovering risks that automation cannot fully detect, such as usability issues, edge cases, and real-world workflow challenges.
*This role would evolve into Manual + Automation testing, with the primary goal being Manual testing in the short to medium term.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform manual functional testing of Synergi Life web application features
- Execute test cases and test scenarios based on requirements
- Identify, report, and track defects clearly
- Validate bug fixes and perform regression testing
- Test end-to-end workflows (incident reporting, risk handling, audits, etc.)
- Collaborate with developers and product owners to clarify requirements
- Participate in sprint testing activities in an Agile environment
- Support quality assurance efforts for new feature releases where manual validation is essential
