About the role

Our sales team in DNV Business Assurance Norway at Høvik is looking for a proactive, service minded and customer-driven team player.

Your main task will be sales and customer care. Our main services are Management System Certification services and are for the most part linked to certifications according to various ISO standards.

You will be responsible for your own sales budget, with the aim of creating growth through both existing and new clients. You will also be responsible for re-negotiation of existing contracts and also proactively work towards developing our existing customers, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

In the role of Junior Sales Executive you are asked to proactively increase the sales pipeline within defined industry sectors.

In addition, the position also includes a certain amount of "inhouse sales" related activities including processing of quotes supporting our existing customers in their certification journey. Our ambition is to provide you with the right environment to develop your skills.

Core tasks include:

  • Customer care, sales and customer communication
  • Follow up on incoming leads from marketing campaigns, website etc.
  • Quoting and audit calculations
  • Manage the sales process for several customers in parallel
  • Build pipeline and close sales within different customer segments
  • Plan, initiate and execute sales activities
  • Renewal and updates of contracts, up-selling of additional services
  • Managing scope changes and contract changes for existing customers
  • Keeping our CRM system up to date
  • Responsible for personal target as well as team target

About you

The right candidate has a good balance between a commercial mindset and a customer-focused approach on one side, and a good understanding of complex business environments (systems and processes) on the other side.

We are looking for a proven track record in a similar role within sales or technical sales.
The right candidate is genuinely customer focused. With a strong personal drive, the ability to focus on details as well as the ability to see the bigger picture. You will be working independently and in teams with the other sales executives in the team. You need to be a good relationship builder, and to have skills both in targeting new customers and to develop existing customers.
The candidate needs to be structured, with ability to present complex topics with credibility to customers.
Our services, processes and systems require a high level of details, and the candidate needs to be able to manage this effectively. The use of multiple tools and systems is required, as such the candidate needs to be a fast learner.

We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience with B2B sales and customer service
  • Mastering the Norwegian language fluently and on a professional level, both in speaking and writing, is an absolute must when working with Norwegian customers
  • Experience with CRM systems and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Ability to work with many customers sales processes in parallel/simultaneously, combined with the ability to work in a structured way with complex processes and systems
  • High level of work ethic and alignment with the DNV values
  • Understanding of, and/or knowledge about, ISO standards, Management Systems for Quality, Environment, HSE/Safety, Information Security, Food Safety, Sustainable Seafood/Fish Farming, and the industries where this is relevant, would be preferable.

Your primary work place will be Høvik outside Oslo.
